Responsibility in action: Our commitment to ESG and DEI

Our mission at Aivy was social right from the start: We want to make the people behind the resume visible in order to promote real equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion (DEI) in the job market. But this mission doesn't end with our talent assessment software. It is the core of our identity as a company. We are deeply convinced that economic success and social responsibility are not mutually exclusive but interdependent.

E — Ecological responsibility: Our contribution to climate protection

As a digital company, our ecological footprint (environmental) is comparatively low. Nevertheless, we take our responsibility to protect our livelihoods seriously and act proactively.

  • Climate contribution: A fixed portion of our turnover flows through the program Stripe Climate directly into a portfolio of emerging technologies for CO₂ removal. In this way, we are not only offsetting our emissions, but also making an active contribution to scaling future-oriented climate solutions.

  • Resource-saving work:
    • Digital-First Culture: We practice a consistent digital way of working. This means: minimized paper consumption, elimination of unnecessary transport routes and a lean, energy-efficient infrastructure.
    • Green mobility: We actively promote environmentally friendly mobility for necessary business trips and support our employees with job tickets for public transport.

G — Responsible corporate governance: Our ethical compass

Trust and integrity form the basis of our work (governance). This applies to protecting data as well as developing our technology and running our company.

Ethical AI for greater fairness

We are committed to the ethical and transparent use of artificial intelligence. Our goal is to use the enormous opportunities offered by AI to demonstrably reduce human prejudices (unconscious bias) in recruiting. At the same time, we are working proactively to minimize potential risks of discrimination through algorithms and to continuously review our models for fairness.

Scientific independence as a principle

We consciously and completely develop our psychometric methods, algorithms and software “in-house”. This strategic decision guarantees us full control over the scientific and ethical integrity of our products — regardless of the interests of third parties. In this way, we ensure that our instruments always meet the highest psychometric quality criteria and serve the goal of fairness.

S — Social responsibility: Our biggest lever for fairness

Our strongest commitment to social sustainability (social) lies at the core of our product: We make fairness and objectivity in recruiting measurable and accessible to everyone. But our contribution goes far beyond that.

Fairness at the core of the product

  • Free access for nonprofits: We support non-profit organizations by giving them free access to our platform under clearly defined conditions to strengthen their important work.

Living social responsibility

  • Free for people: We believe in transparency and empowerment. This is why private individuals can use Aivy free of charge at any time to discover and understand their own potential.

  • Impact percentage: We are committed to donating 1% of our profits and future sales revenue to charitable causes.

  • Donations instead of fees: For us, knowledge transfer is a way of giving something back. All fees we receive for lectures or workshops are donated in full. Thousands of euros have already been invested in initiatives — from refugee and cold aid to effective funding funds for animal welfare, poverty reduction and strengthening democracy.
  • Freemium model for companies: In order to reduce the hurdles for fair personnel selection, we offer a free basic version of our software. This allows every company, regardless of its size, to take the first step towards more objective processes.
  • Long-term partnerships: We are committed sustainably and support organizations such as “Aktion Mensch”, which is committed to inclusion and diverse cooperation in society.

Our commitment: Act, not just talk

For us, ESG and DEI are not buzzwords for the sustainability report. They are the compass that guides our daily actions. We are not only committed to a fairer working world, but also to a fairer society and protecting our common future. We are convinced that entrepreneurship can and must be a driving force for positive change. That is the responsibility that we as an Aivy team face with full conviction every day.
